Crash

A few weeks ago on my way home I passed this scene -- but from the other side. I saw only the tram and the bystanders/onlookers/photographers. I found the picture later on nu.nl.

The driver of the car was killed. The passengers of the car, and everyone in the tram, were not. At the time I found this picture it was still unclear who was at fault, with respect to the incident. This intersection is about two blocks from my work. I frequently ride this tram when it's raining.


I hope I don't seem too sensationalist here. It was an event that made quite an impresssion on me.
