Pishi

A friend of mine, or rather, her mother, is the guardian of a rather large pussycat. My friend's two-year-old daughter refers to this beast as Pishi, the Persian word for kitty, presumably in order not to run screaming from the room every time she sees him (it's a him if it has a mane, right??).

I am adopting him as my mascot. (He is wearing my husband's sunglasses in this photo).
