Waiting

So I am waiting for this guy to call.

Wait, before you get the wrong idea, it's not how it sounds.

So I called this guy who is a partner at my place of work. I knew since yesterday I had to call him but what did I do? I waited until then end of the day on Friday to call him. And oh, by the way, he is in NY and it's not the end of his day yet, no, not at all. Anyway his assistant tells me he will call me back in 2 minutes. Only the thing is, I don't know this guy well enough to know what 2 minutes means to him, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean 2 minutes. In fact, completely sure, because it's already been more than 2 minutes.

So I am wondering how long I should wait before I just take off, or call him back, or whatever have you.
