Poor finish?

Somehow managed to forget it was Sunday today until I woke up -- in time to prepare the house and shop for our 11:30 lunch guests -- shopping is more difficult in Amsterdam on Sunday, involving a 5-minute drive instead of a wander 2 blocks up the street -- and more importantly, of course, we would miss church. Sigh.

Time to reflect on the coming year. Will I make any resolutions? I don't know. My spouse doesn't believe in them (his only resolution, now well over 10 years ago, was not to make any more new year's resolutions). But I do find it provides a nice moment to consider the year ahead and reflect on how I'd like it to look. I definitely will do that. I'll get back to you on the resolutions though.
